From its Port Kembla Works in New South Wales, BlueScope Steel Limited has supplied state of the art raw coil feed for the manufacture of high strength, high quality pipe for the oil & gas industry in Australia, for nearly four decades. This steel is now known as PIPESTEEL™.
From the earliest supply of coil suitable for conversion to pipe grades in 1968, PIPESTEEL™ has been produced in compliance with American Petroleum Industry (API) Standards. BlueScope Steel has developed a full range of products suitable for producing pipe of varying strength, from the base API Grade B through to API 5L X80.
