Attach Ceiling & Wall Linings to Steel Framing
Surface Inspection
All surfaces to be lined must be free of protrusions such as hex head screws (wafer head screws are acceptable).
Ceiling Lining
Plasterboard
Apply the recommended adhesive and fix sheets as per the plasterboard manufacturer's specification. Sheets must be fixed with recessed edges at right angles to the truss bottom chords.
To fix sheets to LYSAGHT SUPRATRUSS® roof framing system, use #6-18x25mm bugle head, needle point screw.
Wall Lining
Plasterboard
Apply the recommended adhesive and fix sheets horizontally as per the plasterboard manufacturer's specification. Allow a gap of minimum 5mm and maximum 10mm from the bottom of the sheet to the floor.
To fix sheets to Boxed & Open Stud systems, use #6-18x25mm bugle head, needle point screw.

Fibre Cement Sheet
In wet areas where fibre cement lining is used, in all cases fix sheets with #8-18x25mm self-embedding head, needle point screw.
