Product Description and Features
LYSAGHT FIRMLOK™ BEAM is a structural beam that is light, strong and universal in it's applications. It is developed for maximum aesthetic and structural performance. It consists of two interlocking Cee sections.
- Developed for maximum aesthetic and structural performance
- Three Beam sizes are available (100, 150 and 200 mm)
- High load capacity with excellent torsional resistance
- Uniform in quality and does not warp or split, and it doesn't need painting
Common Uses of this product
Purlin and rafter applications in verandahs, extensions, carports and awnings. Economical floor solutions when used as joists and bearers.
Warnings
- Please contact us if use is intended in adverse conditions (marine, severe industrial or unusually corrosive environments)
- Lead, copper, bare steel and green or chemically treated timbers are not compatible with this product. Contact and water runoff should be avoided.

Specification
LYSAGHT FIRMLOK™ beams are made from ZINCALUME® steel complying with AS 1397-2001 G550, AZ150 (550MPa minimum yield stress, 150 g/m2 minimum coating mass).
The base metal thicknesses are 0.55, 0.75 and 1.00mm.
The COLORBOND® steel complies with AS/NZS 2728:1997
Colour Range
LYSAGHT FIRMLOK™ beams are available in ZINCALUME® steel and a range of COLORBOND® steel colours (please contact your supplier for colour availability).
The LYSAGHT FIRMLOK™ universal brackets are also available powder coated in matching colours.
