Product Description and Features
The LYSAGHT® Patio Post is an attractive post designed for maximum visual impact and structural strength. The post is made from extruded aluminium and features a fluted profile and high gloss powder-coated finish. The posts sit neatly on die-cast aluminium feet which are easily fastened to concrete slabs or footings.

Common Uses of this product
Post for awnings, carports, verandahs, pergolas and patios.
Warnings
- Do not allow the LYSAGHT® Patio Post to make long term contact with lead, copper, bare steel or most green or chemically treated timbers
- Do not allow rainwater run-off from these products to flow over the LYSAGHT® Patio Post or it's components
- Supporting members should be coated to avoid undesired condensation
- Use only neutral cure silicone sealants

Maximum Uplift Forces
- Sustainable by foot (as detailed with two M10 Dynabolts): 18kN
- Sustainable by head with one central M8 bolt in slotted hole: 14 kN (as detailed with four 10-16x16 screws)
Greater uplift forces can be sustained at the 'head-to-post' connection by fixing LYSAGHT FIRMLOK™ beams to posts with LYSAGHT FIRMLOK™ Universal Brackets. Forces will depend on the number of screws used. see Download LYSAGHT FIRMLOK™ Beams Quick Selection Tables for Home Improvements (811 KB)
