The house has a 1.2kW photovoltaic solar power system, energy efficient fixtures and fittings, and an Ecovision resource system which monitors the consumption and supply of gas, energy and water. 3. Amoveo's Portable Buildings Combine Durability And Good Looks |
Building products and construction coordination from BlueScope Lysaght have helped transportable housing specialist Amoveo take its modular design to a new level.
Amoveo's range of units is based on steel framed ISO modules, structures with the same dimensions as standard shipping containers. The LYSAGHT QUIKAFLOOR® system was used to create a verandah structure which would be as durable as the rest of the accommodation unit. [Read more]

- The Queen of Australia was born on 21 April 1926 at 2.40 AM to the Duke (later King George VI) and the Duchess of York at
17 Bruton Street, London - the home of the Duchess of York's parents. She was given the names Elizabeth Alexandra Mary.
- With the exception of Western Australia, the Queen's birthday will be celebrated in Australia on Monday, 9 June 2008.
Western Australia will celebrate the Queen's birthday on Monday, 29 September 2008.
- Each year, Australia Post issues a stamp commemorating the Queen of Australia's birthday. The Queen's Birthday stamp issue
for 2008 features an image of the Queen and the badge of the Sovereign Head of the Order of Australia. The image was taken
at an official dinner held at Parliament House in Canberra during her visit to Australia in 2006.
