A large prestige home under construction in Melbourne has opened a window for its occupants on the natural beauty of adjacent Heritage listed bushland populated by koalas and kangaroos. A novel steel roof truss system developed to create usable space inside a roof cavity has allowed a Sydney architectural company to create a large rumpus room at minimal cost. Rob Hale of the YBC Group is using steel building frame technology to convert a conventional fibro home into a spacious two storey dwelling in the style of mid-western American architecture. Five completely trivial but fun facts to boggle your mind. The theme for this edition of 'S.O.S' is chocolate. Did you know:

• A single chocolate chip provides sufficient food energy for an adult to walk about 50 metres, hence, it would take about 875,000 chocolate chips fo fuel an around-the-world hike.
• Chocolate syrup was used for blood in the famous 45 second shower scene in Alfred Hitchcock's movie, "Psycho" which actually took 7 days to shoot.
• Chocolate has over 500 flavor components, more than twice the amount found in strawberry and vanilla.
• Chocolate can be lethal to dogs because it contains Theobromine, an ingredient that stimulates the cardiac muscle and the central nervous system.
• The Swiss consume more chocolate per capita than any other country in the world - more than 10kg per person per year on average.
