SURELINE® steel transmission poles have helped connect new generating capacity to the Tasmanian electricity grid. The 18 metre, two-part poles were part of a rapid deployment program which involved close collaboration between Transend Networks Pty Ltd, Bell Bay Power Pty Ltd, Hydro Tasmania, Transfield and supplier BlueScope Steel. 2. Refinery Expansion Sparks Innovative Construction Solution |
A Newcastle company has completed construction of a series of world record breaking transportable buildings. The project consisted of 11 electrical switchroom buildings, with the largest weighing 900 tonnes and measuring 36 metres long and 17 metres high. - Most countries across the globe celebrate Father's day on the third Sunday in June, with only Australia and New Zealand celebrating it on the first Sunday in September.
- The idea for creating a day to honor fathers began in Spokane, Washington when a woman who had been raised by her father was attending a Mother's day sermon in 1909. Sonora Smart Dodd wanted her father to know how special he was to her.
- The traditional flower for Father's Day is the rose, with red used to honour living dads and white to remember those who have passed on.
- The necktie is the most common and famous Father's Day gift.
- We take this day to honour fathers everywhere, and to bring families together!
