Did you know?

Pig Iron, a mixture of mostly iron and carbon, is produced in blast furnaces by layering limestone, coke and iron ore and forcing hot gasses into the furnace. This heats the coke red hot, reducing the iron from its oxides, where it flows as liquid to the bottom.
