What is the thickness of the zinc alloy on the SURELINE® power pole?
How much does a SURELINE® cross-arm weigh?
What is the length of the SURELINE® cross-arm?
What is the purpose of the cross-arm coating?
The coating improves dielectric performance and increases the longevity of the cross-arm. The coating is not a standard powder coating. It is a high performance thermoplastic alloy. Its performance makes it suitable and durable for playgrounds, underground pipes and marine environments, for example.
What are the dielectric/resistance properties of the cross-arm coating?
What is the purpose of the sleeve at the bottom of the SURELINE® pole?
The sleeve protects the pole at the ground line from line trimmers and above the ground acid (such as form dogs), but more importantly, the sleeve protects the steel pole in the oxygen rich layer below the ground, from corrosion.
Can the lengths of the sleeve be changed?
The sleeve is available in three standard lengths (1,000mm, 2,400mm, 4,800mm). This means the level of protection of the asset can be tailored to environmental conditions. There is also an optional boot that encloses the sleeve at the base of the SURELINE® pole.
Will the life of a SURELINE® pole affected if I drill a hole?
What about Step Touch Potential?
