What is a digital signature?
A digital signature is an electronic seal that cannot be forged. It provides verification to the reader that the file came from BlueScope Steel and that it has not been altered.
How to view the digital signature
A digital signature can be viewed using the signature tab on the left of a pdf. It contains information such as who the pdf was signed by as well as when and by whom it was signed.
How to verify the digital signature
If a digital signature is not verified, the signatures panel will display a question mark. A verified signature will display a tick in the signatures panel. In order to verify a signature, the reader of the document is required to have the signature certificate installed. To install our digital signature certificate, download the certificate below and then open the file. This will automatically install the certificate on your computer which will allow verification.
