Product Description and Features

PERMALITE V-RIB® is a roofing and walling profile made from marine grade aluminium alloy. It has a 915mm cover width and a symmetrical profile. A double capillary drain in the rib overlap ensures weather security.

• Long lasting, durable, lightweight alternative to other cladding materials.
• High thermal insulation. This is significant in reducing the operating cost of air conditioning.
• Minimal maintenance to remain corrosion free.
• The lighter mass of aluminium can provide a substantial reduction of the cost of transport to remote locations.
• Effectively used as insulation jacketing in power stations and chemical processing plants.

Warnings

• Galvanic corrosion may occur when aluminium, in the presence of water, is placed in contact with metals other than alloys of aluminium, non-magnetic stainless steel or zinc. Direct contact with zinc coated steel is not recommended in marine or industrial environments.
